The truth is, Mustache is just one person, me, Jon Maddox. While I am the sole developer, this industry is a very collaborative one. Web developers usually have a small core group of friends for bouncing ideas off of and getting ideas from; I’m no different.

I’ve been developing for the web for over 8 years. My expertise ranges from standards based frontend markup & CSS down to server management. I’ve been working with Ruby on Rails since 2005 and specialize in creating custom applications built with a client’s core business in mind.

Along with the work I do, I spend a huge amount of time just playing with technology over all. I love technology and the web. Sometimes my effort even yields something usable like Tapp.it or iPhone Apper. Imagine that!. There’s nothing I love more than taking two pieces of technology and getting them to talk to each other in ways they weren’t exactly designed for.

As I said, technology and development is a very community oriented field. So you can find me contributing when I can. I blog geeky at Simplistic Complexity and I blog fun at Jon’s Thoughts On Everything. I’ve recently picked up a new hobby in photography; you can see some of my progress (or just spy on me) over on Flickr, of course.
